The Cheltenham Horseracing Festival is, to put it lightly, the horse racing event of the year.
Four days of exhilarating horse racing, with the 2024 event set to be bigger than ever as the celebrations for the 100 years of the Gold Cup will be in full swing. Each of the four days has a differing theme and showcases the best jump-racing, with fans flocking from all over the world to watch the 28 races and place their bets.

The Wilson Art Gallery & Museum

When – Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 6pm, Sunday 10am to 4pm
The Wilson, as suggested, is both an art gallery and museum and is home to a significant museum collection of great variety. With renowned collections such as the Arts and Crafts Movement, Fine Arts and many more.

The Neptune Fountain
Where – 83 Promenade, GL50 1PJ
When – Available to visit 24/7
The Neptune Fountain is a ‘monumental statuesque piece depicting Greek god Neptune in a shell-chariot, being drawn by four seahorses and heralded by conch-shell blowing merman’.
The fountain was unveiled in 1893 after being designed by Joseph Hall and carved by Richard Lockwood Boulton and his sons. By day, water flows and by night it perfectly lit to create an eye-catching sculpture, paying homage, allegedly, to the Trevi Fountain in Rome.
Everyman Theatre

When – Theatre open dependant on show times, Box Office is open Monday – Saturday 9.30am – 5pm
The Everyman Theatre has been open since 1891 and is guaranteed to have something for everyone! From architecture lovers to regular theatre goers, the Everyman is dearly loved in Cheltenham.
